It has also a leading&nbsp;place in physics, for its success in organizing the most fundamental physical theories<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; \u2014 &nbsp; C.T.J. Dodson and Phillip E. Parker,<br><\/em>the authors of the book \u201cA User\u2019s Guide to Algebraic Topology\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A broad consensus exists that a basic knowledge of algebraic topology is indispensable in modern mathematical student\u2019s education.
